| For sale is a cabinet-sized specimen of copper forming an s-shaped cast with small entrapped conglomerate clasts (Calumet Conglomerate) entrapped in the copper and minor white calcite from the Tamarack Mine in Michigan. It is not common to find specimens from this mine on the market. The mine operated at a profit from 1887 to 1907 (mindat.org). An old specimen label is included.

VANADINITE intergrown with CALCITE |

| This an aesthetic cluster of numerous red orange vanadinite crystals intergrown with calcite crystals from the Apex Mine in Chihuahua, Mexico. Crystallization is present on both sides of the specimen. The calcite exhibits rounded terminations. The vanadinites are well-formed barrel-shaped crystals with beautiful color, some elongated along the c-axis. The specimen sparkles under good light due to the coverage of vanadinite and calcite and is in excellent condition with some minor areas of contact along the edges. A specimen label is included.

CALCITE (Var: Glendonite) (pseudomorph after IKAITE) |

| For sale is a unique pseudomorph of calcite (var: glendonite) after ikaite partially exposed within a spherical mudstone concretion. The glendonite forms an orangish-brown stellate aggregate of pyramidal crystals, formed in very cold water conditions rich in calcium and carbone/bicarbonate ions. Ikaite is metastable and readily pseudomorphs to calcite once removed from near-freezing water. These first came to the market in the early 1990's and are not common on the market today. The specimen is undamaged and comes with a specimen label.

| For sale is an incredible specimen of sharp flattened-rhombohedral calcite with white palygorskite from the Pend Oreille Mine, Pend Oreille County, Washington. The cluster consists of a large undamaged main crystal (over 9 cm long!) and smaller stacked crystals. The specimen is undamaged with one cleaved contact on the back of the cluster (last photo, top of photo). This is one of the largest calcite crystals that I have seen from the Pend Oreille Mine. | For sale is a very unique cluster of nailhead calcite and quartz from the famous Spruce Ridge locality in Washington state. Calcite is not a common species from this locality. The calcite is translucent when held up to a light with a cream-colored coating and is double terminated with complex terminations. A few gemmy terminated quartz crystals are intergrown with the calcite. The cluster is in excellent condition with points of contact at the base of the quartz crystals along the back side of the cluster.
