For sale is an outstanding combination mineral specimen from Washington Pass, Washington. Perched on a lustrous white microcline feldspar matrix, this exceptionally large zektzerite crystal showcases excellent luster and an absolutely exceptional rich pink hue for the mineral type. The zektzerite exhibits a classic pseudohexagonal prismatic form with a sogdianite rim. In addition, the zektzerite measures over 1 inch and is on matrix, a specimen that you rarely will see offered from this classic Washington state locality. There is some contact damage on the backside of the specimen which is not noticeable if displayed from the front and provides a window to the deep gemmy pink interior of this crystal from other angles. Zektzerite crystals of this size with this color are rarely if ever offered and to be aesthetically perched on the contrasting host matrix makes this a specimen to consider adding to your collection. Zektzerite fluoresces a light blue under shortwave ultraviolet light as shown in the final photograph. Micro opal (bright green fluorescence) is also visible on this fantastic specimen. ASKING PRICE: $3,000. Please contact Max Larsen at Mazama Mine Co. on his Facebook or Instagram accounts if you are interested in purchasing this specimen. A remote area called the Mud Tank Zircon Field located on Alcoota Station, Northern Territory, in outback Australia has been known for its zircon material since 1940. This collection of professionally-faceted zircons is being offered for a very good price. The sizes are as follows: Row 1 (left, from top to bottom, in carats) - 0.8, 1, 1.15, 1.75 (plum/purple), 1.65 (yellow), 2.4 (light pink) Row 2 (middle, from top to bottom, in carats) - 2.1, 2.6, 1.35, 1.95 (colorless), 1.8 (hexagon) Row 3 (right, from top to bottom, in carats) - 5.2 (large square), 7.1 (large round), 4.05 (bellaxe design), 3.8 Total = 37.7 carats Zircon is known to vary widely in intensity of its reaction to UV radiation. This is also the case for the Harts Range material. The final photo shows 6 stones exhibiting yellow under short wave UV light. These stones were collected in the 1970's and faceted by Jaimy Henman of Gems Down Under in 2023. To see more of Jaimy's incredible faceted stones, please follow him on Instagram!

For sale are three exceptional pink gemmy zektzerite crystals. The first photograph shows the strong fluorescence under shortwave ultraviolet light. The second photograph shows the color in natural daylight. Click Here to view a short video showing the three faceted crystals in daylight. A 0.45 ct zektzerite faceted in a mixed cut called "Lucciola" (left), 6mm x 4mm. Like most zektzerite it is somewhat fractured. However it is quite scintillating, very gemmy and very pink. The polish is perfect and the meet points are excellent. Another 0.45 zektzerite faceted in a slightly different square barion design called "Trattola" (center). This gem measures just under 5mm x 5mm. Although somewhat fractured it is very gemmy and very pink. On one side of the girdle there is a slight pitting from the surface of the original rough, barely visible to the naked eye. The polish is perfect and the meet points are excellent. Finally a .20 ct 4mm x 4mm zektzerite faceted in a round design called "Tensor"(right). Although it has some minor internal craziness, this stone is not fractured and is extremely gemmy and pink.
