| For sale is a beautiful thumbnail cluster of gem-clear vibrant green vesuvianite from the famous locality, Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec The color of this vesuvianite was discovered in 2008. Wisps of green-blue chromium vesuvianite zoning can be seen in a few of the crystals, which may partly explain the unique gem color of these vesuvianites. The specimen is mounted on a pedestal-style acrylic base with removable mineral tack. A specimen label is included.

Many of the crystals are double terminated with subtle hints of green chromium zoning. Specimens of this size and quality are becoming nearly impossible to find on the market. The specimen exhibits lustrous crystals with gemmy light purple (manganoan) and green zoning. The specimen is in very good condition, with some abrasion.
