| For sale is an incredible single dodecahedral magnetite crystal from Cedar City, Iron County, Utah. The faces are lustrous steel-gray with striations that continue through dodecahedral faces to produce repeating triangles. The bottom of the crystal is where the crystal was attached to matrix. The specimen is mounted in a pedestal-style perky box with removable mineral tack and specimen lablel.

Euhedral magnetite crystals associated with fine-grained pinkish-red andradite is found in marble from a skarn deposit near the Alpental ski area. The magentite and andradite have been etched from the marble. The magnetite has a bluish irridescence. The specimen is crystallized on both sides. A specimen label is included.
