Gormanite-souzalite is a solid solution - (Fe2+,Mg)3(Al,Fe3+)4(PO4)4(OH)6.2H2O - (Mg,Fe2+)3(Al,Fe3+)4(PO4)4(OH)6.2H2O. Fibrous blue-green radial sprays of gormanite-souzalite are associated with golden siderite and quartz. The specimen is mounted on a polished acrylic base with removable mineral tack.
